At 81, people are fragile, especially when hit by a car whilst riding a bicycle.

There is a Friday the 13th for everyone at some stage, and the well tempered and tough-guy actor Hackman, came close to fulfilling the prophesy so many people fear may happen to them on this misunderstood special date.

Yes, it was a close shave for the timeless silver screen star, but he seems, according to the bulletins, to be doing reasonably well.

But where the hell were his stand-ins; the stunt man??? I mean really, this is just not on; no indeed!

However, after being hit by some (very embarrassed) driver I am sure, on the Florida Keys, Hackman was airlifted to hospital on Friday 13th, and I think this may be the end of his push bike frivolities. From now on, it's a chauffeur driven three wheeler for one of our most admired super screen giants.

Reports are that Gene is doing fine after the hospital saw to his bumps and bruises and he's been sent home.

But was this on Hackman's chart?

Yes it was.

Many times I have mentioned the number '13' is to be respected, and I know that Hackman's accident took place on the dreaded "Friday the 13th"; but was there any other connection that indicated our screen villain and hero was due to experience a brush with death when he did... yes again!

Unless you're reasonably advanced in Numerology charting, and know how to scribe and read chart on a moment by moment basis, Hackman's name this year has a new "essence", a touch of seasoning if you will, that places Hackman in a particular "frequency", a potentially nasty one... 67.

Yes, you see, it is well known among the older generation that when things are at sixes and sevens, all hell can break loose, and 6 & 7 = 13.

However, 13 is not a Good 'or' Bad number per say, it is one that asks for greater awareness and caution with whatever one does, and in Gene's case, whilst riding a bike is one such activity, as cars are bigger than Gene on a bicycle.

Oh, and an additional comment from me to Gene; look after yourself more this year than normal, as any combination (like Friday's date) that is identical to your particular 2012 'harmonic' will attract other potential occurrences, if you're not careful.

So, February, April, July, September and November are particularly 'hot' months, and then of course, there are those 'certain' days woven all throughout the year as well. However, as from 2012 to 2015, you will be feeling quite different than you have been over previous years. Maybe the accident, a close encounter with death more accurately, has made you think a lot more about how frail we are as humans.

To wind up; I really enjoyed your performances in "The Firm, Crimson Tide and Enemy of the State" but you did very well in "Unforgiven" as well.
