No one escapes the tides of change, not even the great and mighty Hosk! (Breaking Newsbelow 10th April 2018) Being the King of all that is positive, it will be rather interesting to say the least when Mike finds out for himself that "not all is well with his world"! It is very easy to sit on a perch, with money, a couple of well paid jobs, and tell those less fortunate how lucky they really are. Will Mike be able to take his own medicine? So, cutting a short story even shorter based on the topic, the weather forecast predictions set for mighty Mike show a rather large and interesting cold front heading his way and it is quietly starting as early as March (2017) and gathers momentum for a few months. However, ... February 2018 finds the 6am - 8:30am host of NewstalkZB to have potentially hit an ever-building wall of water of which, even he, will need all his colourful charm and more, to escape the surprising turn of events of a stress storm which seems to be heading his way. No shelter for Mike unless his media buddies quietly sweep 'matters' under the carpet and hide what's happening from us, the public'. Then there's April, well this could be a challenging month for the lad as this is an accident prone period and a time to make some big decisions based on risk evaluation and directions. A time to be careful that's for sure. July is another sticky spot where good management of wintry conditions can bring the need for health management and avoid having to deal with 'life lessons'. September, a turning point perhaps. Mike, you're improving on air the longer you're there, so be alert to your work load and don't shrug off others needs as these are important times when you shoulder the woes of others, but only when it's necessary, otherwise just do what you have to do and keep your life in balance. It is fair to say, things pop up in everyone's life and change is either met with a smile, a sense of adventure, a welcome challenge, or, "Rats the bath water's gone cold and I don't like this anymore". It is fair to say I don't know Mike apart from his "live and on-air, show, but I would say from my years of researching 'what makes people tick' that he takes it easy in 2018. UPDATE: Heard this morning (10 April 2018) Mike crashed his car yesterday (9th April). Could have been avoided.
