Houston Disaster, Predictable ?
Sep 1, 2017 1:37 am

From the very beginning, when Houston Texas was granted Incorporation on June 5th 1837, to the civil war in 1860, even when the Union forces won the war five years later (1865), Houston had began an historical record of events forming a pattern that has followed true, The yellow fever that killed 12% of the population 1839 From the fire that razed much of Houston to the ground March 1859 49% of the population enslaved in 1860 The freeing of slaves 1870... and many more events were significantly marked over the historical track record of Houston's past. Now, to the biggest natural flood in American history beginning 25th August 2017. Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Texas, and rainfall of Biblical proportions turned the city and surrounding state into a giant, swirling wash of water. Many have died. Tens of thousands - if not more evacuees are in shelters, but was this too, a foreseeable event from my area of analysis? YES! The activity RIGHT NOW follows the same cluster of patterns that have peppered Houston's past. And the future, well there are two and a half years of rebuild to follow and it means all hands on deck.New Zealand's City of Christchurch was brought to its knees in 2010/2011 with an earthquake, seven years on, the re-build of the city is still ongoing and there are only a few hundred thousand people in the region.Houston is another matter as the foundation of the water damage and the waterways must all be seriously reassessed, upgraded and rebuilt. This is a home for millions of people, and Nature has provided a massive lesson with her awesome power. But, how can people do anything about a future they cannot see? They can't! So, can anything be seen ahead for this drowned city, is there any light at the end of the tunnel? Yes! By the year 2020, Houston is back on its feet once more. The City will be up an running with another three years (2020 - 2023) of re-build and development; BUT, keep a keen eye on May through December 2023, as another significant change for the City of Houston is Indicated. The Initiation Marker for the up-and-coming changes will be seen by late February 2023 and build in intensity over the mid to later months. This is not a doomsday warning, far from it, but if the events of the past, the events of the present and what can be calculated in the period indicated, are all tarred with the same brush, why brush it off and ignore it?
